About this site

This site is operated by Global Aid for Relief and Development (GARD), a not-for-profit organisation based in London, United Kingdom. By using it you accept these terms.

Our status

GARD is a not-for-profit organisation. It is not a registered charity, which is why this site invites contributions and support, and why no Gift Aid is claimed.

Contributions

  • Contributions are processed by Stripe. Placing a contribution means you accept Stripe’s terms as well as these.
  • Naming a programme describes how GARD directs your contribution. It is not a contractual guarantee that a specific individual will receive a specific item.
  • Contributions are directed to the programme you select. Where a programme is already fully funded, GARD may direct the contribution to the closest related programme need.
  • Monthly support continues until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation stops future payments rather than refunding past ones.
  • If you believe a contribution was taken in error, contact [email protected] and we will investigate.

Accuracy

We take care to keep this site accurate and current, and it is provided in good faith. Descriptions of programmes explain what GARD works on; they are not warranties, and any figure is published only where GARD can evidence it.

The GARD name, logo and site content belong to GARD unless marked otherwise.
